“LSRS ToGether—The Book Series” extends the mission of the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society (LSRS) to gather academics and practitioners, religious and non-religious people and groups, believers and non-believers, theologians and specialists from different dis-ciplines, to develop together a new transdisciplinary approach in theology, religious studies, philosophy, as well as the humanities, and stimulate the “fermentation of knowledge.” The aim is to respond together to the “change of epoch” (Pope Francis, Motu proprio “Ad theologiam promovendam,” November 1st, 2023) that affects so many aspects of life, not only human beings, families, groups, societies, nations, religious communities and the Church, but also nature, the environment, and the global ecology. The books published in this series result from the LSRS’s activities or the work of col-leagues from other institutions who share the same passion for dialogue as a means of searching together for the greater truth.

Unter dem Thema „Zwischen Abgrenzung und Toleranz“ widmeten sich Autorinnen und Autoren aus den verschiedensten Disziplinen und Religionen der spannungsreichen Entwicklung der südlichen Levante von der Entstehung des rabbinisch-pharisäischen Judentums und der jungen Kirche bis zur Etablierung des Islam im umayyadischen Weltreich.
Musik bewegt Menschen, Massen, Götter. Dass sie „Macht“ hat, scheint offensichtlich.
