Eleonora Pede has defended a PhD in Religious Studies at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano (Università della Svizzera Italiana), in a joint programme with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. She developed a comparative study between Muslim and Christian ethics, focusing on gender issues in Europe. She graduated at the PISAI (Pontifical Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies) and she has a master’s degree in Languages for International Cooperation (Università degli Studi di Roma Tre). Moreover, Eleonora Pede is a KAICIID (King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue) Fellow for the European Region. As an Affiliate Researcher at the LSRS, she works with Prof. Alberto Fabio Ambrosio on “Fashion & Religion,” her main areas of interest in this field being the luxury fashion market, the customer experience, and the Middle East Area.
