Reinhold Boschki is a professor of religious education at the University of Tübingen. He heads the Department of Religious Education and conducts research on the foundations of religious education in schools and communities, on catechesis, Christian-Jewish dialogue, theology after Auschwitz, combating anti-Semitism, and interreligious education—the latter especially in conversation with Islamic religious education. Reinhold Boschki also heads the Institute for Vocational Religious Education and the Elie Wiesel Research Center in cooperation with the LSRS and the School of Jewish Theology at the University of Potsdam.
His passion lies in education and dialogue. Encounters between people of different beliefs, disciplines, religions, and cultures are essential. He strives to realize the motto of his teacher Elie Wiesel: "None of us can accomplish as much as all of us together!"
